Just off the southwest coast of Australia, not far from Perth, is a place called Lake Hillier. It is located on a small island that is part of large chain of islands called the Recherche Archipelago. What is particularly odd about the lake is that it is as pink as bubble gum. Even if you collect the water and take it home with you, it remains pink.
There are different theories as to why it has this colour. Some say it is due to some organisms called Dunaliella salina and Halobacteria that emit a pink dye. Others say it is due to bacteria in the salt crusts called red halophilic. It's in a rather remote spot, so it's not terribly simple to get to, but there is a nice video on youtube that gives you a sense of what it is like to see it in person:
